Scarpetta is now available on Caviar and we are sooo excited!!! I've dined at the Miami restaurant in the past and was always impressed. This meal was so delicious, that perhaps, could be the culinary weapon that could mend relations between countries...:). Don't think it's known for its brunch btw so walk-ins are easy and without wait, even at prime brunch hours on Sunday (we went close to noon). Great ambience, professional and attentive/prompt service and decent food. I told him at the beginning of the meal, and he was diligent about making sure to warn me what I could have and what I couldn't. Came here for both dinner and brunch on separate occasions. Service was impeccable and attentive when required. I, however, had a great experience with our waiter as a lactose-intolerant. When she approached our table my daughter being star struck by just being there was taking pictures of the restaurant, the server "rolled her eyes" at us and walked away. The inside decor is gorgeous - so many plants hanging from the ceiling! Their pasta is as incredible as ever, the raw fish appetizers are exceptional (better than Jean George), their cocktails are insane - you get 12.5 oz for $21 with high end mixers. If you could own a restaurant, this would be it.

Surely, my colleague had no doubt that both fish were excellent, but come on, take a stand! Came here on a Sunday night to try their out door cafe, the food and service was nice!!! I understand the desire to be diplomatic, but the answer my colleague received was entirely unhelpful. There's no need for fancy ingredients when you have perfectly cooked noodles and perfectly seasoned sauce. The sauce was different from your regular marinara sauce-- much creamier, and you could very clearly taste the basil. One of the breads had meat and cheese wrapped in the middle, and since I couldn't eat the cheese, the waiter brought me my own dairy-free bread basket.
