Brampton Manor opened its sixth form in 2012 aimed at improving the rate of disadvantaged students getting into the UK’s top universities.In 2014, one student received an Oxbridge offer and in 2018, that had grown to 25.This year’s 41 offers, which are conditional on the students getting their final grades, is a new record.Pictures of past Oxbridge students are displayed on the school’s walls to act as motivation to new students and the names of every former student who attends university are added to a long list at the school’s entrance.The school has a team of Oxbridge graduates dedicated to getting students into the top institutions and its study centre opens from 6am until 7.30pm each day.What an achievement!
