I have a MAC and it also required an adapter to work. Had the 4XL for a year. This printer should last more than one year for the amount paid. In frustration I pressed a button on the front (without any explanation as to what it was supposed to do) and it started feeding labels continuously; it would have wasted the whole reel but stopped when I pressed the button again. Folks do NOT BUY any printers from these morons. I am not sure what causes the issue?
