Chefchaouen’s architecture resembles that of southern Spain’s Andalusia, especially Seville, with its squares, gardens and castles. We had read that there is a trail that leads back to Chefchaouen, but it’s an additional 20km and neither Mac nor I were quite willing enough to take on that challenge. We arrived in Azilane by mid-afternoon and decided to push on further towards Afeska. As is the nature in all tourist places in Morocco, there was a family-run restaurant near the base of the falls with tables and chairs set up all over the rocky terrain.
