Normally Mac and I are decently quick hikers, but being engulfed by a damp mist for hours on end had us both hiking slower and more subdued. We had read that there is a trail that leads back to Chefchaouen, but it’s an additional 20km and neither Mac nor I were quite willing enough to take on that challenge. We arrived in Azilane by mid-afternoon and decided to push on further towards Afeska.
