More unhappy that the person who checked me in that morning (middle aged woman, black hair) didn't really seem to care when I mentioned it, didn't even bother to remotely offer any kind of apology.

We won't be staying here ever again and I advise you to check your sheets before you sleep in their beds! The cabin itself was clean and as promised in the photos. They said it was my fault that I didn't have water because I didn't call thier emergency number. Pets are welcome for a fee. This was NOT debris, it was disgusting hair from God knows who/where. The prices are incredible too! This is strictly for the room we stayed in (I won't mention the food/dining experiences).
Waited for a call back and once we finally got it, NO apologies were offered for their oversight of CLEARLY not changed sheets. The staff helped as much as humanly possible under the circumstances.

So in reading reviews there were good and bad. We were snowed in so it was nice to really relax and cook in this peaceful place for two nights. Even-though it was clean, these cabins can use a major maintenance update to include pest control. Spruce Cabins features year round accommodations. We were very blessed that during a major snow storm experience we still had hot water and a fireplace! It was hard to write a review since there are so many aspects of the property.

Although the staff was friendly they need be more modernized. The property was rustic but beautiful and we really enjoyed being able to spend time in the snow. See you next time!We stayed in cabin 16.

Our cabin provided dinnerware, a pan, a pot and a few serving/cooking utensils along with dish soap, one roll of paper towels and a couple of trash bags.
I booked a stay at Spruce Cabins after reading several good reviews. Bed was comfy, location was gorgeous (although I'd rather not have to look at a skid-steer out of my window), and fairly priced. We would come back again!
