I have mixed feelings about this place.
The tiger was so skinny, and alone!
It was very hot but shade was provided and the queue was quicker than indicated by the sign at the start, probably about fifty minutes in total but great to see the pandas!
The queue to see the pandas was an hour and a half long but it was a public holiday.Ueno zoo is at central Tokyo easily accessible for visitors. Although its age is starting to show, the zoo is still a popular retreat in Tokyo. Ueno Zoo is a wildly popular place of interest in - where else?
To tell the truth, it didn’t.
Panda is the highlight of the zoo. Date of experience: March 2020. Lots of animals in their environment and the awesome panda family! Very good place for kids to visit and learn about world animals.

Panda Baked Cookies Tin Can: The special tin can design is part of its allure! It is famous for its mascots: two giant panda bears coming from China. It’s a large zoo and can’t really be seen properly all in one day. The rest of the zoo is quite compact but there is plenty to see and it is well laid out. Always being tourists might get lame, but eternal newcomers? A petting zoo for small children is also available and can be found on the western side of the zoo.
