The maintenance guy and 2 housekeeping ladies were rude.
The only problem with hotel was when we got to our room and went to unpack they had a very large bag on top of the luggage rack in the closet..The bag contained extra sheets, blankets, pillows, etc and was heavy. It is right across from the beach - great location!Excellent parking, nearly on the sand of the beach, lots of things to do in walking distance, beautiful rooms and accommodations. We strive to provide the best service and accommodations so our guests can have a relaxing vacation.
This place is a dump. 9 days later it's still a painful mess. My thought is there are three closets in that room and they had to place the bag on the luggage rack? We will forward this information to the appropriate teams. A couple we talked with later had had the same experience.

HBO on the TV to watch a movie or CD/DVD player if you want to pick up a Red Box. Last Dec 19-22,2019 we went to Wyndham Oceanside Pier. We strive to provide the best accommodations and amenities for our guests.
Makes traffic a little crazy for sure, luckily you can walk almost anywhere in less than 10 minutes. We strive to maintain our resort and provide great service and accommodations in the best locations so you can make the most out of your trip. But when you call to try and set it up, they don't let you stay in that hotel, they make you pay over $100 dollars, they make you come back for another 2 hours trying to sell you even though you already sat through their presentation and repeatedly explain to them that you're not interested.

There is no supervision or rules when it comes to the pool. Reservations appear staggered, so that only one group appear to be arriving or leaving at any one time. The free coffee and hot chocolate are made with tap water. When we got back to our room after a fabulous barefoot walk on the beach, we realized the bottoms of our feet - and now our sandals - were covered with horrible, sticky, stinky tar! Front desk staff are helpful & friendly.
Finding an ideal family-friendly resort in Oceanside does not have to be difficult. They took a 20.00 deposit that they said would not be charged well they did. Things to be aware of in advance: 1) No house keeping but they stock everything in advance & you can ask for anything from the front desk.
