The junction of Highway16A and Highway 89 is located on the east side of the City of Custer, SD.Sites are close together and are not good for large tents or RVs over 27 feet.Sylvan Lake Lodge offers a restaurant, lounge, a general store, hiking trails, water sports and breathtaking views of Harney Peak.Located 1/4 mile from Sylvan Lake off of SD Highway 87 North (Needles Highway). We were in campsite 26 which was secluded and very nice and dog friendly. There are a total of 44 campsites.

The lake was pretty crowded but we were close to the 4th of July when we stayed there.
